This set of prints comes as part of the New York: Liberty Edition

The Liberty Edition is limited to 250 units (0101-0350). It comes with two 16” x 20” limited edition silver gelatin archival prints with custom authenticity stamps. The featured photographers are:

1. Eugene de Salignac (1861-1943) New York Municipal Archive.

Eugene de Salignac was the official photographer for the NYC Department of Bridges from 1906 to 1934, during which time he took over 20,000 photographs, many of which were lost until recently.

2. Andre De Dienes (1913-1985) OneWest Publishing.

De Dienes began his career shooting for Esquire, Vogue and Life before becoming one of the top celebrity portraitists of the era, photographing Marlon Brando, Elizabeth Taylor, Ingrid Bergman and Marilyn Monroe, amongst others. Photographer’s highest auction value to date: $1,139.
